There's a new reason for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide players to be happy, with the most significant content drop scheduled this May 29. Titled "Rejects Unite," it will introduce new missions, a new enemy, and earnable cosmetics, along with updates to the store.

In a statement, Executive Producer Juan Martinez shared that the game has seen a lot of updates, patches, content drops, and hotfixes over the last six months. He added that they know they missed the mark at launch and not only did they acknowledge that, they also went through community feedback. He further said that this is why they changed the approach in servicing the game. Martinez also said that this newest content drop delivers even more new content for players.

Here are the details about Rejects Unite:

  • New Missions
    • Archivum Sycorax – Throneside
      • Players are sent into Habzone HL-19-24, "Throneside," to break into Archivum Sycorax.
      • It's suspected that Heretics have been getting help from inside the hive, so there may be sensitive information in there that could prove that.
    • Ascension Riser 31 - Transit
      • This mission is part of the first community event.
      • Players need to unite to achieve 3 challenges.
      • Each challenge unlocks a reward with the last being the Ascension Riser 31.
      • The Heretics are transferring a consignment of Prismata Crystals to their allies in the Hive.
      • Head into the bowels of the Transit Hub HL-16-11, "Chasm Terminus," to intercept and seize the shipment before they can complete the transfer.
  • New Enemy
    • An old f(r)iend returns with the Chaos Spawn.
    • The Chaos Spawn now roams Tertium as Darktide's fourth monstrosity.
  • Cosmetics
    • New shop dedicated to earnable cosmetics.
      • A new servitor is moving on the Mourningstar, taking the vacant spot left by Brunt's Armoury location change.
    • Additional earnable cosmetics.
      • More cosmetics are going to be patched into the game for players to earn.
    • Lock and Unlocked Inventory view.
      • Players can now track which earnable cosmetics they have obtained, where they came from, and how to get the most elusive ones.
  • Premium Store
    • After a break spent to focus on improving the game, the premium store has re-opened and now features new sets of cosmetic items.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is available on PC with a version planned for Xbox Series X/S.
