Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus announced that it is arriving on Android tablets and iPad on April 22. Set to be launched as a premium title, it’s going to offer not only the full original title but also the Heretek DLC. Once the game goes live, players can buy it at Google Play or Apple Store for $11.99.

The Story

The story behind Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus was written by Ben Counter. Known for his books that are set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, fans are more than guaranteed that the game remains faithful to the lore. The tension offered by the missions combined with the visual effects and audio is sure to make players excited.

Gameplay Experience

Players take on the role of the tech-priest Dominus Faustinius and lead their forces on a journey across Silva Tenebris. The goal is to venture deep into the Necron tombs to salvage whatever hidden ancient technologies.

Players won’t have to do everything alone since they have a team that they can customize in terms of types, augments, and disciplines. That’s not all as players can control how their squad moves as well as manage any vital resources needed.

When it comes to combat, players get to test their skills in every battle. For each fight won or tomb explored, the threat level goes up but rewards do increase as well.

There are also in-game achievements that players can collect, which include some really powerful abilities and usable once per mission. There’s no question that the game is a treat for those who love strategy games.

Heretek DLC

The Heretek DLC was released back in 2019 and offered a lot of new content. There are five new missions offered that include a new delivery system for the game’s narrative. Then, experience the Xeno-altered weapons, which are already deadly on their own, and their new play styles when paired with support tech. Plus, a new Discipline is featured along with two new troops.

For PC and console players, digital and physical copies of Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus can be purchased here.
