Carol might embrace a new life with Ezekiel in The Kingdom after all. New set photos from The Walking Dead Season 7 might give us some clues about Carol’s fate.

The Spoiling Dead Fans shared the leaked set photos on its official Facebook page. The images show Carol in full Kingdom armor, which is basically football padding. The last we saw Carol, she had left The Kingdom to stay in a house near the compound. Carol had no desire to return to Alexandria. Ezekiel visited her new home, and they’re likely in a sexual relationship. Hey, let’s be real, Ezekiel was laying it on thick and Carol wasn’t saying no.
It seemed like Carol was possibly considering returning to Alexandria, but now it appears she might enjoy life in her house by The Kingdom. She can come and go as she pleases and doesn’t have to pretend like she’s anything she’s not. Ezekiel understands Carol’s need to put on a persona, and lets her be free. Rick and the other people of Alexandria didn’t see Carol was suffering, so this might be the place for her.
However, Carol will eventually learn about Daryl one way or another. Daryl is the only person who understood what she was going through. Daryl was the only one who saw Carol. She won’t let Daryl be tortured by Negan and The Saviors. She’d blow up the whole sanctuary if it means saving Daryl.
Carol is also attached to Maggie and won’t let Glenn’s death go unpunished. Think about it. Carol worked so hard to protect everyone just for Negan to come in and take it all away. If the people of Alexandria aren’t safe, the horrible things she’s done will be in vain. Carol won’t be able to live with that. She will fight once again, even if that means giving her life to save the people she loves.
