Naruto Slugfest is set to become the first 3D MMOARPG to arrive to mobile devices. The game is based on Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and was confirmed by GameSamba. This was done in a press conference which was attended by license holders Shueisha, TV Tokyo Corp., and Studio Pierrot.

In a statement, Yukio Kawasaki of TV Tokyo said that they have "worked with many licensees, but I'm very excited with this project. Besides, we believe in GameSamba's capacity of making Naruto Slugfest a first-class game."

Meanwhile GameSamba CEO Jacky Yung shared that they are more than excited to be able to bring back this classic anime to both fans and players in the form of a mobile game. Yung said further that this game is going to be the "first ever mobile 3D MMOARPG adapted from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden." He went on to say that "the visual effect of the interface is so vivid and overwhelming that players can tap on the screen to wipe off the raindrops in game." In addition to the amazing graphics, players can expect to show their shinobi skills in the most intense of battles.

According to GameSamba, Naruto Slugfest already conducted a very successful beta test back in April. As a result, optimizations and updates have been made to the game based on player feedback. Since the game is going to be released in multiple languages, this means players worldwide get to enjoy what it has to offer.

Naruto tells the stori of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks recognition from his peers while dreaming of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. Naruto was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and adapated to an anime television series which lasted for 220 episodes from 2002 to 2007. Naruto Shippuden served as a sequel and had 500 episodes which ran from 2007 to 2017.

GameSamba develops and publishes free-to-play web and mobile games. The company has studios in Seattle, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Their mission is to bring high quality titles to a worldwide audience. GameSamba currently publishes Star Trek: Alien Domain, Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War, FAIRY TAIL: Hero's Journey, and Star Trek Alien Domain: Incursion.
