Tinder has just released a major update to remind you that it will always be there for you as your ultimate wing man. For hopeful singles that are struggling to break the ice or need to make a desperate last-ditch attempt to salvage an awkward exchange, Tinder now lets you send your match a GIF to switch it up and keep things exciting. It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so just imagine the impressive message you'll be sending when you select the perfect GIF from the wide assortment available via Giphy.

The new Tinder update adds a GIFs tab next to the text input box and also provides the users with a couple of trending GIFs that will prove extremely helpful when words cannot express the complex emotions that come from the heart. (I hope you're reading into the sarcasm, by the way.)

If the Tinder match on the receiving end is impressed by your clever and charming advances, then they can respond with the option to "Like" the GIF or message by tapping the heart icon next to the conversation. Emojis are also larger and can now be sent without accompanying text. In addition, Tinder also added in its latest update a feature to allow users to upload new profile pictures from your phone. In the past, users could only select photos that were profile pictures from Facebook.

Finally, Tinder now offers peek and pop actions for Apple iPhones that have 3D Touch. The actions enables the user to open web pages linked within the match coversation.
