The newest expansion pack for Super Robot Wars 30 arrives today. It's available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The new content being released by the new pack is divided into two parts. The first one comes out today and lets players access the Spirit of Steel, Prana Converter, and Aos Arc power parts. There's also the Attacker and ExC Bonus skill

The second part arrives on April 20, which will introduce a new difficulty with the Super Expert Mode Plus. It's an extreme difficulty level with changes made to several game rules. This is for those who want to experience a different kind of playthrough.

So what can players expect? Enemies remain as strong as those are in Super Expert Mode. However, players are restricted on how much their units grow. That means they'll need more EXP to level up and the upgrades cost a lot more. The good news is that players can earn 10 new and very potent power parts which can be carried over to other game modes but only after clearing this new difficulty mode.

Another new stuff is the Chain Area Mission titled Brother and Sister. In this one, Edge and Az talk about their past together in a set of three area missions. To access the missions, Edge and Az need to be both recruited, and the game must be complete.

Other pieces of new content arriving in Part Two of the expansion pack include:

  • Added Missions
    • Area missions: 20
    • On-board missions: 25
  • Added Playable Units: 10
    • Scopedog TC LRS
