You know what they say about Arya Stark right now: She’s no one. Or at least she’s someone else. Arya Stark has had an interesting couple of seasons, and is currently living in Braavos living her perfect life. Except blind and all that. So what’s her deal? How long is she staying in Braavos? Is she coming back to Westeros? How many people are still on her list? Murder murder murder! That’s the Arya Stark tale.

Game Of Thrones Season 6 Spoilers: Arya And The Death List

First off, Arya Stark’s story in Game of Thrones season 5 is actually behind the Song of Ice and Fire books. In the books, she goes blind at the end of Feast for Crows. Spoiler alert henceforth. A Dance With Dragons sees her regain her sight after a period of adversity, and then go out a-murderin’ officially for the first time, on the Temple of Black and White’s dime. She manages to kill somebody, in a cool, super sneaky way, and gets promoted to become an apprentice, or a step up from whatever she was before. And that’s how the book ends, as far as Arya stuff goes.

So as of the beginning of Winds of Winter, Arya still isn’t back in Westeros. As of Winds of Winter preview chapters that have been released over the years, Arya is back to killing people on her death list—but still in Braavos. She’s made no moves toward heading back toward her old home. But it has to happen at some point… after all, that’s where the key members of her list are.

In Game of Thrones, only three members remain on Arya Stark’s death list: Queen Cersei, Lord Walder Frey, and Ser Gregor Clegane, The Mountain That Rides. All of them are in Westeros. I’m not sure Arya will get there in time to kill all of them, but one of them? Yea, I think so. Queen Cersei? Perhaps. But time’s a-wasting. The Mountain is serving as Cersei’s champion, so both of their lives are theoretically at risk (I wouldn’t worry too much about Robert Strong… he seems like he’s got a good, tough head on his shoulders). Walder Frey is an old man. But you know she’s going to get one of them.

Arya, we’re all rooting for you. Get back to Westeros in Game of Thrones season 6 and start getting the Stark’s revenge.
