Street Fighter Collabs with NERDS Clothing and Steel Sessions for Original Soundtrack

In celebration of hip hop's 50th anniversary this August, a new collaboration between Street Fighter, NERDS Clothing, and Steel Sessions is bringing together the top artists in hip hop for an original soundtrack. It's going to have select songs inspired by the sights, sounds, and action of the Street Fighter series. The album is titled "Street Fighter 6 x NERDS Clothing presents Steel Sessions," to be released worldwide later this year through all major digital streaming platforms.

Talking about this new album, renowned NYC MC Dave East shared in a statement that it has been an incredible experience to bring together hip-hop artists to celebrate the history of the genre along with this legendary fighting game.

NERDS Clothing CEO and Creative Director Eric Medina said that hip hop and gaming play a huge role not only in their business, but even in their personal lives. NERDS Clothing is a streetwear company founded in 2011 based in NY/NJ. Since its beginning, NERDS has managed to build a loyal customer base and is servicing a broad age demographic of consumers.

Street Fighter 6 is available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. A physical release is planned for the fourth quarter of this year but only available for those in the US.

Since its launch, the game has sold more than 2 million units. This latest addition to the franchise comes with unique fighting game innovations, along with new content spread out across three new game modes, which are Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub.
