True to earlier teases, Star Wars Battlefront 2’s 1.1 update adds tons of free fixes available across the multiplayer suite. The new content won’t exactly blow your socks off if you’ve played Crait or the campaign before, but it's nice to see DICE stick to its pre-launch promise of free DLC. With these adjustments, some of the game’s most overpowered items have been nerfed while expensive rewards are now easier to obtain.

Beyond these fixes, the next phase is, of course, a new themed season to enjoy. While nothing has been confirmed, we know something along those lines will be revealed soon and may very well relate to the prequel trilogy. We’d put our money on Clone Wars goodies, but we’re still waiting for an official announcement.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The 1.1 update should be available now across all three platforms.

Has Battlefront 2 been made better by this new update? Which fixes in these patch notes are you most excited to see in action? Tell us in the comments section!
