Splitgate received a small update on February 12. The patch isn’t heavy on content but it does make several tweaks to the game. Quick Play Playlist has been changed and the Map Creator has been improved. A handful of bugs have been addressed as well.

The patch increased the object limit for Map Creator to 2,000 from the previous 1,200. Hit detection issues in the creator’s map have been fixed and walking animation for join-in-progress players now works as intended. CPU and network optimizations are included as well.

Team Objective Playlist received two additions. It now features Koth and DOM game modes. Tactical Deathmatch is renamed to Sniper Freny and Team Snipers has replaced Swat mode. The Competitive Practice playlist has also been replaced by the Team Swat-only playlist.

The patch adds soft-kill zones to OOB areas and fixes one wall clipping exploit. Players won’t get kicked in round-based modes due to time-based inactivity. You can read the patch notes in great detail below.
