It’s said that when it comes to fashion, the British are typically known for their own sense of style. The Sims 4 hopes to give everyone the chance to experience that with the Modern Menswear Kit. This will be available starting December 2 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

To make sure that this new content can deliver what is promised, The Sims 4 partners with the British Fashion Council.

In particular, the Modern Menswear Kit was made possible through the work of Stefan Cooke and Jake Burt. Cooke revealed in a post that they took the quintessential menswear items and repurposed them. He added that while his brand is all about redefining masculinity, they made sure that it is authentic and does not exclude anyone.

The Modern Menswear Kit brings a wide range of new-age menswear that everyone can enjoy. Players can look forward to 23 pieces from Stefan Cooke collections, all of which have been "Simified." These pieces are spread to many clothing types like jackets, suits, trousers, and shoes. Included as well are some of Cooke’s favorite pieces like the Stefan Cooke Wool Varsity Coat with Skirt.

Both Burt and Cooke revealed that they aren’t only excited to see their styles democratized and digitized but also to the self-exploration that the kit will inspire. Burt said that he hopes players should be more explorative when it comes to what they’re wearing, especially for guys. He went on to say that everyone should feel more comfortable while not being afraid to wear what they want.

Cooke added that fashion is not only about community but also individualism. It can change how people feel about themselves.

The Sims Senior Art Director Vincent Joly said that each material has been hand-painted to come close to the texture qualities. He concluded that each piece has been tuned so players can find that sweet spot.
