There are three new careers in The Sims 4: City Living : Social Media, Politics and Critic careers. Some are easier than others. The Social Media career is less demanding and more fun, allowing Sims to develop skills like video games, writing jokes and updating their social media status. The Political career, on the other hand, is a bit more demanding. It involves a lot of charisma skills in the beginning and forces you to actually go outside and convince other Sims to fight for your cause. The critic career is somewhere in the middle and focuses on a lot of the same skills as the writing career, but depending on if you choose art critic or food critic, you’ll also have to develop painting or cooking skills. While some players like the process of reaching the top and slowly unlocking career objects, it can be time consuming and quite boring for others. Like all the other careers in The Sims 4, there’s cheats for this.

How To Use Sims 4 Cheats

To use pretty much any cheat in The Sims 4 , make sure testing cheats is enabled. To do so, press control+shift+c (command on a mac). In the text field, type testingcheats true and you’re all set to enter whatever cheat you need. I’d go ahead and add bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement to unlock locked Career Objects in Build Mode while you’re at it. Keep pasting one of the following codes below to promote your Sim to the top of whatever career they choose. You must be hired in the career you wish to reach the top of before you enter the cheat. To demote your Sim from their current position, simply replace ‘promote’ with ‘demote.’

careers.promote SocialMedia

careers.promote careers_adult_critic

careers.promote Activist
