Sign-ups for Closed Beta Test of Zenless Zone Zero Now Open

A new adventure awaits. HoYoverse

HoYoverse announced that a new round of closed beta test is scheduled for its upcoming title Zenless Zone Zero and sign-ups are now open. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster called as the Hollows. It's going to be available for the PC along with mobile platforms Android and iOS.

This upcoming closed beta test is also being called as Amplifying Test. It's going to highlight the new character named Zhu Yuan along with the new faction which is the New Eridu Public Security's Criminal Investigation Special Response Team. Players can also look forward to the latest Bangboo models which bring with them the newly developed combat technique known as the Bangboo chain attacks.

The test also introduces the combat challenge called the Shiyu Defense. There are also combat missions available through the upgraded Hollow Deep Dive System. With this updated system, players should be able to immediately go into challenging boss battles without the need for any additional steps.

What else can players look forward to the new closed beta test? They'll get to experience the significant improvements which is a result of the latest upgrade done to the HDD System. This allows players to explore the Hollows in a manner that's more efficient using the TV Wall, also known as the Hollow Board. The Hollow Board itself has been optimized to a certain extent.

The combat design meanwhile has been made more dynamic after several iterations. It has resulted in maximizing the excitement not just in hardcore players but even the new ones. This is especially true when it comes to Missions and Hollow Zero. Finally, there's the New Eridu which introduces more urban life events and city guidance to give the "citizens" an immersive residential experience.

Those interested to sign-up for the Amplifying Test can check out the game's website here. There's also a plan for a closed beta test for the PlayStation 5 though no details have been released.

Aside from the closed beta test, pre-registration is now open as well. There's going to be rewards given based on pre-registration milestones. As of this writing, there's a little over 25 million players who have pre-registered.
