Scorn, the first-person horror adventure game, is only a few months away. The game’s release date was announced yesterday during the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase. Scorn is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 21 and will be available on both PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass.
Scorn is being developed by Ebb Software and will be published by Kepler Interactive. The game has a timed-exclusivity deal with Microsoft, meaning that after the exclusivity period ends, there’s a chance that it could arrive on PlayStation.
The developer also revealed the official system requirements of the game. As you would expect from most games nowadays, Scorn will only run on Windows 10 or above. A total of 50 GB of free storage space is required and SSD is the recommended storage type.
To run the game on minimum settings, you will need either an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X or an Intel Core i5-8400 paired with GeForce GTX 1060 or above. The 3 GB variant will work fine. If you want to play the game with higher settings at a frame rate, you need to upgrade your hardware. For CPU, you will need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel Core i7-8700. For GPU, you should be good with an 8 GB variant of GeForce GTX 2070.
