After Adult Swim revealed the premiere date of Samurai Jack Season 5, the Toonami programming block has released the first trailer for the continuing adventures of everyone’s favorite time-travelling samurai.

In the first Samurai Jack Season 5 trailer, we see Jack 15 years after the events of the Season 4 finale as he has now begun to question his purpose in life and his mission to kill Aku.

Be sure to check out the Samurai Jack Season 5 trailer above for all the goodness.

The new Samurai Jack trailer shows Jack fighting with himself over what his next move is while Aku has tightened his grasp on all of time. But it seems Jack will rediscover his purpose and try to get back to the past to undo everything the demon has done.

And now that Samurai Jack is on Adult Swim at a later time, there is a lot more violence than what was shown in the first four seasons. This is not the Samurai Jack you grew up with, and it seems the show has aged with the audience that made the series a cult favorite.

Samurai Jack Season 5 will premiere March 11 at 11 p.m.
