Samsung Galaxy S7 Release Date: Preorder 24K-Gold-Plated Models, Starting At $2380

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are Samsung’s latest premium smartphones, which means they won’t come cheap. But third party customizer Truly Exquisite is offering the smartphones for over $2,000; that is if you would like your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge encased in 24-karat gold, 18-karat rose gold or platinum.

Companies like the London-based Truly Exquisite always get some spotlight during the launch of new flagship devices. In addition to customized smartphones, Truly Exquisite gold plated and diamond encrusted model cars, smartwatches, tablets, caps and headphones. But customers must be willing to throw down a hefty amount for these luxury items.

Here’s a rundown of pricing for the customized Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

24K Gold Galaxy S7 – £1700 (approx. $2,380)
24K Gold Galaxy S7 Edge – £1800 (approx. $2,495)
Platinum Galaxy S7 – £1800 (approx. $2,495)
Platinum Galaxy S7 Edge – £1900 (approx. $2,630)
18K Rose Gold Galaxy S7 – £1750 (approx. $2,425)
18K Rose Gold Galaxy S7 Edge – £1850 (approx. $2,562)

Customers must put down 50 percent of the device’s price as a deposit. Included with the precious metal plated smartphones are a carrying case, the Samsung Gear VR headset and a standing, fast-charge charging dock.

Notably, standard models of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge do not come with carrying case or the fast-charge charging dock.

All models sell SIM unlocked.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 hits markets March 11.
