Things are heating up in Riders Republic with the release of Season 3: Summer Break. This new season gives players access to new content, new weekly programming, and Climate March. Season 3 ends with an event countdown to the introduction of BMX bikes.

Project Rebirth

From July 28 to August 10, everyone is invited to join Project Rebirth; this is a special event created to serve as an entry in the Green Game Jam. To those not familiar, the Green Game Jam is a competition where developers are tasked to make events or game modes focused on raising environmental awareness.

For Project Rebirth, players can join in the Reforestation event taking place at a dedicated base camp. Here, they can collect seeds and plant trees in an area of desert. Those able to finish the weekly seed-collecting challenges are eligible to win the funky Sunkeeper electric wingsuit.

It’s not all in-game since Ubisoft Annecy is also going to support Ecologi in its reforestation initiatives. Ubisoft Annecy is donating 50,000 Euro, which should be enough to help in planting around 300,000 real-world trees.

Climate March

The Project Rebirth event then culminates in the Climate March. In this one, players can show their commitment to climate action by joining the in-game gathering for one day. It’s going to start on July 29 at 6:00 p.m. ET and ends on July 30 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

To join the march, players need to teleport to the area through the Rebirth booth at Riders Ridge. Once Project Rebirth ends, they will receive an in-game Green Game Jam hoodie souvenir.

Desert Bloom

In addition to helping raise environmental awareness, Project Rebirth is also introducing a new Mass Race course called Desert Bloom. The race begins like a rollercoaster ride across the desert. However, as the reforestation efforts progress, the track will be surrounded by new growth and vegetation as the season goes on.

End of Summer

Once Summer Break ends, players can build up the hype through an event that counts down to the BMX sport add-on. There’s going to be a big screen BMX countdown at the center of Riders Ridge with weekly challenges focused on BMX-like freestyle activities. Players can also look forward to a Free For All playlist focused on bike freestyle.
