Riders Republic, a new IP by Ubisoft, has become the latest game to be delayed. The multiplayer-only sports game will now release on October 28, instead of the previously announced September 2 release date.

Game Release Date Delayed

The delay was announced two days ago on Twitter. The reason for the delay is that the developer needs more time to make some last-minute tweaks. The announcement also hinted that another beta might be on the table.

“This will give us more time to fine-tune the experience and give you another chance to jump in before launch and provide feedback,” Ubisoft said.

Riders Republic isn’t the only game that got postponed. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction also received the same status and got moved to next year. You can check out our previous article for more information.

Platform

Riders Republic will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, and PC. The PC version will only be available on Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store. Players who want to buy the game on Steam will have to wait for the exclusivity period to end.

Pre-orders and Different Editions

You can also pre-order the game from the official site. Just select your desired platform and follow the steps. Three different editions of the game are available for purchase.

  • Standard Edition comes with only the base game and costs $59.99.
  • Gold Edition comes with the base game and Year 1 Pass and costs $99.99
  • Ultimate Edition comes with the base game, Year 1 Pass, and four exclusive style packs. This edition will set you back $109.99

The game will be available to play via the Ubisoft Plus subscription service as well. So, just buy the subscription when the game launches and play the title for cheap. However, you won’t be able to play the game when your subscription period ends. You can also choose to register for the upcoming beta over here.
