We now have a new release date for Riders Republic and it’s on September 2. The game is launching on different platforms including PC and various consoles.
The game was first revealed in last year’s Ubisoft Forward event with an initial release of February 25, 2021. However, when January 2021 rolled in, it was reported that the game was delayed without a new date.
While there’s no guarantee if the September 2 release date is indeed final, there’s still a chance to try out what the game can offer. Just register here for a chance to join the upcoming betas.
In Riders Republic, players get to join a large open-world of outdoor sports with the likes of biking, skiing, snowboarding, wing suiting, and rocket wing suiting. Players get the chance to go through various outdoor sports solo or with friends.
Game Modes
The game offers these different modes:
- Mass Races
- Join epic multisport races with new ones appearing on the map.
- Current-gen consoles allow for at least 20 players.
- Next-gen consoles let more than 50 players join.
- Tricks Battle
- Join 6v6 matchups and land as many tricks as possible on the different modules to earn points.
- The team with the highest score wins.
- Versus Mode
- Team up with friends and get to see who’s the best.
- Free for All
- Challenge new opponents and then show them how it’s done.
- Go through a select playlist of events.
- Multiplayer Competition
- This is a way for top riders to show off and show out.
- Can you make it to the top divisions?
Pre-Order
Pre-order for Riders Republic is now available. In addition to the Standard Edition, there is the Gold Edition which has the base game, Year 1 Pass, and some exotic kits that can help players upgrade their gear. There is also the BMX Sport add-on and other exclusive content.
The Ultimate Edition, meanwhile, has everything in the Gold Edition plus four exclusive cosmetic packs: Cosmic, Rainbow, Neon, and Skull’n Style. This version also gives players 20 Helicopter tickets and helps them reach summits faster.
