Resident Evil Village is only a couple of weeks away. The sequel to RE7 will launch on every major platform on May 7. You can now preorder the game on Steam and review the official PC system requirements as revealed by the developer. Just like the last three RE games, RE: Village's requirements are quite reasonable but higher than the recent title.

The minimum requirements of the game are quite low hardware-wise. You simply need either Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 paired with either Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560. You can check the VRAM requirements below. If you want to enable ray tracing, then the GPU for minimum settings will become Nvidia RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

As you would expect, the recommended requirements are higher. For CPU, Intel Core i7 8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 is needed to run the game smoothly. Either CPU must be paired with either Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 at the very least. If you want ray tracing at higher visuals settings, then you should pair Nvidia RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT with the CPU.

You can read the complete system requirements in detail below.
