Resident Evil 4 Remake is a little more than a month away but the wait still feels like an eternity. The game is launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC onMarch 24. Given how bad various recent PC ports have been, some PC players are nervous about the remake. Hopefully, this article should put these concerns to rest.
The official system requirements of the game have been revealed and they seem quite reasonable. Just like most modern games nowadays, Resident Evil 4 Remake will also require Windows 10 64-bit and DX12 API.
To run the game at 1080p at 45 FPS with Prioritize Performance preset, the developer recommends 8 GB of RAM and either an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or Intel Core i5-7500 processor. This must be paired with either a Radeon RX 560 or GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
If you want 60 FPS at 1080p resolution, you will require a stronger PC. The RAM requirement is increased to 16 GB, and an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7 8700 should be good as CPU. For GPU, you will need either a Radeon RX 5700 or GeForce GTX 1070.

As you can see, these aren’t the final system requirements. The developer hasn’t revealed how much free storage space the game will require, but we should know about it in the coming weeks. The requirements are mentioned on Steam as well.
