The rogue-lite hack and slash game RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore, which was initially released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, will soon get its release for the PC via Steam. As announced by publisher Nicalis, the game has been dated for a September 4 release, which is Wednesday of next week.
First launched back in February of this year, RemiLore is a rogue-lite, anime styled adventure set in a colorful world where players hack and slash their enemies and use devastating magic spells. The story revolves around Remi, an ordinary high school student who has awakened Lore, a talking book who is a self-proclaimed master of magic. Together, they are drawn into the magical world of Ragnoah which has been overrun by terrifying mecha-monsters. Remi and Lore must cooperate and journey together to find their way home.
Presented from a top-down perspective, RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore sticks to the usual elements of rogue-lite games, with its procedural levels and dungeons filled with hordes of mecha-monsters. This guarantees a unique experience for every playthrough. A weather system is also implemented, which drastically changes the lighting styles in the game depending on if it is winter, spring, summer, or fall.
A number of ranged and melee combat styles are also in the game, which can be changed and combined based on over 200 different weapons found in the world. A single player Story Mode is the default mode, however a two player Co-op Mode is also available. Progressing through the game provides players with options to customize their respective characters.
Those looking for a chaotic rogue-lite experience will surely enjoy RemiLore: Lost Girl in the Lands of Lore’s release on the PC. The game releases in less than a week for the PC via Steam. No price has been announced yet, although currently the game retails for $29.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
