It’s been a good couple of week for the Naturalist in Red Dead Online and this week is no different. Looks like the Legendary Moose has been spotted somewhere in the wilds of the frontier. Moose tend to be shy creatures, so they run if startled and players are likely to be surprised by how nimble they are despite their size.
There’s going to be two kinds of moose that will make their presence known this week. The first is the Snowflake Moose which manages to blend in at Barrow Lagoon. However, its large black antlers are somewhat contrasted against the snow. This creature prefers to go out on rainy nights which, combined with the environment, means warm leather is in order.
The Knight Moose, meanwhile, has a pitch dark coat and is said to be found somewhere in the northern section of the Kamassa River bed. Approach this one quietly and be sure to have a steady hand.
Sedating and sampling any of the two rewards you with an offer for 30% off a weapon of your choice. For those who prefer to use lethal force, selling either the Snowflake Moose Pelt of Knight Moose Pelt over at Gus Macmillan’s Store gives you an extra 50% payout until October 5. Gus will also be able to craft two new Garment Sets for those who go this route.
