Rainbow Six Siege's LATAM League 2020 stage two concluded its first playday and the results are here. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the matches have been held online. The LATAM League had some really exciting matches to watch this week, with all the matches played as a best of two format.

The best matchup for the first playday was between FaZe and MIBR. The first map was played on Oregon, which is a defender-sided map. The score went 7-1 in the favor of MIBR, with MIBR dominating 6-0 on their defending side. FaZe was unable to adapt to MIBR’s strategies, which made the first map super one-sided for MIBR. The second map was played on Kafe Dostoyevsky, which is a utility-heavy map. This map was more interesting to watch as both teams played pretty well and taught us a lot of strategies. Ultimately, MIBR was able to out-frag FaZe in almost every round, which allowed MIBR to win 7-4.

Another exciting match to watch was between Furia Esports and INTZ. The first map was played on Consulate. It was a very close match for both teams. The match favored the attacking side, as Furia took the first five rounds on attack with ease, and then INTZ took their attacks with ease. The map could have gone to either team, but Furia came out on top, winning the overtime rounds. This allowed Furia to take the first map with a 7-5 scoreline. The second map was played on Oregon, which went pretty similar to the first map. It was a little weird though, as both teams were more dominating on their attacks when Oregon is such a defender-sided map. Furia took the second map with a 7-5 scoreline yet again.
