Rainbow Six Siege’s European League has concluded its fifth playday of Stage 3. This is an important league as the top four teams will qualify for the Six November 2021 Major.
BDS Esport vs. Natus Vincere
This match was played in Clubhouse, which is a defender-sided map. Na’Vi banned Iana because BDS Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu is one of the best fraggers on Iana and Ash. BDS started the game on defense. The second round setup by BDS was amazing with operator picks, such as Clash, Melusi, Tachanka, and Maestro, to make it impossible for Na’Vi to get the plant down. Shaiiko played this round perfectly, however, as he was just holding down the church site and got a triple kill while Na’Vi tried to execute into the site.
BDS won four consecutive rounds and only required two more rounds to make it a flawless first half. However, Jack "Doki" Robertson of Na’Vi made an incredible play in round five, which helped them get a round. Doki single-handedly saved his team by getting an ace, which was intense to watch. The first half resulted in a 5-1 split in favor of BDS. After the side switch, Na’Vi won two rounds. But BDS had a huge score advantage and converted that pressure into a win. BDS won the game with a 7-3 scoreline.
BDS is the only undefeated team in this split thus far. They have also won four games in a row.
Team Secret vs. G2 Esports
This match was played in Chalet, which is an attacker-sided map. Secret started on the attack and played it extremely well. Secret’s strategy relied a lot on holding flanks and waiting for G2 to mess up.
Santino "Gomfi" Meulenaere of Secret was very patient and held the flanks for his team, which allowed him to get eight kills in the first half. Secret won the first half with a 4-2 scoreline. After the side switch, Secret won the remaining three rounds and finished the match with a 7-2 scoreline.
