Ubisoft finally shared its Rainbow Six Siege Blood Orchid trailer today, giving us the very first official look at the latest map coming to the tactical shooter. We are introduced to an abandoned theme park in Hong Kong, featuring a haunted theme complete with creepy looking mummies, mannequins and gargoyles.

“The S.D.U. is famous for being able to operate in Hong Kong’s diverse and challenging urban environment,” explained Rainbow Six assistant art director Karine Letourneau on the map design. “Their unit is ready to intervene on an array of different terrains, from densely populated shopping districts to steep mountains.”

Ubisoft established a story behind the theme park, where the Hong Kong Triad has taken over the abandoned establishment to manufacture narcotics. The mixture of urban and natural settings are combined in this map as the trailer shows nature slowly reclaiming the abandoned theme park with tall grass and vine twisted around rusty metals.

“This superimposition will in turn influence gameplay,” explained Siege production manager Frédérique Roussel. “Since the spaces have been reconfigured by squatters and an overgrown nature, the architecture is often misleading. You will find wildly different patterns packed in the same corner, for example, rather than a smooth succession of colors and shapes.”

According to Ubisoft, the team hopes the visual clash between nature and manmade structures inspire fresh tactics in unique spaces.

Earlier this week, we got a look at the leaked Hong Kong Theme Park floor plan, which gives us a break down of the first floor, second floor, and roof layouts. Earlier today, Rainbow Six Siege YouTuber NukemDukem managed to compile the known details of the map to create a frame by frame breakdown of the trailer.

Beyond the general vibe of the map, NukemDukem goes into specifics, noting a defender’s camera located beside the carousel at the top left of the map, one of the predicted spawn point for the attackers. What’s more, it appears the glass roof is not only a vantage point, but can be rappelled, a la Bank, adding another entry option for attackers. Finally, from the left side of the building’s exterior is a set of stairs that goes to the next floor, similar to Hereford Base.
