Mortal Kombat 11 fans have been introduced to another massive week ever since the popular fighting game added more new content. This week, they will have the opportunity to enjoy the new Team Raid game mode and even engage in lots of boss fights in an attempt to take home rewards and new brutalities. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

According to the latest datamined details, fans might finally have more information about the next character coming to Mortal Kombat 11. What is more, he appears to have the same abilities and skills as Raiden. Well, it is given since they are brothers.

Dataminers have reportedly unraveled audio files within the game’s PC files, which were recovered from the variety of announcers that players can select. The files even include the announcers that have yet to arrive in the game. Apart from announcing DLC characters like Joker and Spawn, the files also make some references to the legacy character known as Fujin. Obviously, he has yet to be included in NetherRealm’s game.

To make the narrative even more interesting, the datamined dialogue is precisely for the supposed time when Fujin wins a fight. In other words, his arrival in Mortal Kombat 11 is imminent and just a matter of time. This is without a doubt an interesting turn of events for fans since a leak, which has been proven accurate so far, has mentioned Fujin in the list of characters coming to the game’s Kombat Pack 2.

For those who are unfamiliar with Fujin, he is known to be the God of Wind in Mortal Kombat lore. He was first introduced in Mortal Kombat 4 and was also seen in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, although he was a non-playable boss. The character is loosely based on the Japanese Shinto god of the same name. He appears to be an ageless white-haired man with great physique.

Fujin’s attacks are mainly wind-based. Rumor has it that he was originally meant to be Raiden’s brother. However, since he never was addressed properly in-game, it remains to be seen if NetherRealm Studios will choose to introduce him as such in Mortal Kombat 11.
