A new patch is released for The Quarry and it adds the online multiplayer mode. Dubbed the Wolf Pack, it’s an invite-only mode where a host can have up to seven friends with access to the game to watch along.
What happens is that while the host plays, the audience gets to vote on each key decision with the outcome being determined by the majority. Considering the endless replayability built in the deep narrative experience of the game, what Wolf Pack adds is unimaginable choices faced by the host while allowing friends to also experience the fright.
For those who prefer to dive into the story even deeper, there’s good news. All six episodes of the Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast can now be accessed in-game. In the past, this was only accessible through select streaming platforms. This six-part limited podcast series focuses on the fictional paranormal investigators Grace and Anton, who learn more about the bizarre situation in the area that surrounds The Quarry.
Going back to the patch, it now allows players to send their camp counselors' looks back in time, thanks to ‘80s-inspired cosmetic character outfits. They're now available to those who own the Deluxe Edition. Players can also buy the DLC pack separately.
Standard vs. Deluxe
The Standard Edition of The Quarry is available in physical and digital formats for PC and current-gen consoles, priced at $59.99, and the one for next-generation consoles is offered at $69.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition is available for $69.99 in digital format for PC and current-gen consoles. The digital format for next-gen consoles is priced at $79.99.
