Pokémon Unite: Upcoming Update Will Implement Fixes and Balance Changes to Certain Pokémon

Pokémon Unite is going to get its first balance patch tomorrow and it includes adjustments to some stats and abilities. Aside from that, the Spectate Feature test release will be performed for two days starting August 4 at 3 a.m. until August 6 at 3 a.m. EST.

It looks like Charizard is going to be buffed in the upcoming update. Its Flamethrower and Fire Blast abilities have their cooldowns reduced. Plus, their effects have also been strengthened on opposing Pokémon.

Venusaur’s Sludge Bomb has its damage and its effects on opposing Pokémon increased. Further, Solar Beam’s cooldown is reduced.

For nerfs, Cinderace is getting its attack stat reduced and its Blaze Kick ability will also deal less damage to opposing Pokémon than before.

Machamp’s Cross Chop ability is getting its damage decreased, but its Close Combat ability gets a boost in attack damage against opposing Pokémon.

The server update will commence on August 4 at 3 a.m. EST. You must log out of the game and restart the application to apply the update.
