What and When to Expect the Mega Shine Drop?

Apart from the poster character of Mega Shine, a Mega Charizard X ex is also coming to the game, alongside a Shiny version of the Pokémon, also in full art design.

Mega Genger ex's regular and Shiny variant brings the "Labyrinth of Shadows" attack, which deals 120 damage (requires 3 Dark energy and 1 Colorless energy) to opponents and prevents them from using any Trainer cards on their next hand.

That said, Mega Gengar ex only has 210 HP, which is relatively low compared to other ex.

Mega Charizard X ex, on the other hand, has the Raging Blaze attack that has a base damage of 100 (requires 3 Fire energy) but deals an extra 80 damage to opponents who have half HP or less. This version of the Pokémon has 220 HP.

The new themed booster pack is dropping for "Pokémon TCG Pocket" on March 25, 2026, at 6 p.m. PDT.
