One of the things that trainers like about Pokémon GO is how the game introduces interesting features. The latest one appears to be a new type of Incense known as the Daily Adventure Incense. With this, trainers can start to explore and get the chance to encounter Pokémon not frequently seen in the wild. By the way, trainers worldwide can enjoy the Daily Adventure Incense, even if they're located in rural areas.
This new feature has started to roll out and will continue over the next week until all trainers can experience it, as per the Pokémon GO team.
How do they work? Once activated, the Daily Adventure Incense lasts for 15 minutes. While exploring during this time, players get the chance to encounter Pokémon not frequently seen in the wild. Trainers receive one Daily Adventure Incense per day and can only hold one at a time. By the way, trainers won't be able to use another Incense while Daily Adventure Incense is active. The reverse is also true, which means a Daily Adventure Incense can't be used when another Incense is activated.
To start using Daily Adventure Incense, trainers need to first complete the associated Special Research. This Special Research teaches trainers how to use Daily Adventure Incense and also rewards XP.
Activating the Daily Adventure Incense
A Daily Adventure Incense can be activated like any typical Incense. The steps are:
- Locate the Daily Adventure Incense in the Item Bag or tap the icon in the upper right of the in-game map.
- Swipe on the Daily Adventure Incense to use it.
- A blue fog is going to surround the avatar while Daily Adventure Incense is active.
Remember that once used, the Daily Adventure Incense is removed from the Item Bag until the next day. While the Daily Adventure Incense is active, wild Pokémon are going to be attracted to the location so long as the trainer is moving.
Daily Poké Balls
To make sure that trainers can enjoy the new Incense, there’s a bonus available. Those who have fewer than or exactly 30 total Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls, immediately get 30 Poké Balls when the Daily Adventure Incense is activated.
