The manga-style point-and-click adventure Otaku’s Adventure is arriving on the mobile platform this May 17. It’s going to be available on both Android and iOS, priced at $2.99. Pre-registrations are now open for Android, and Android users on TapTap get a head start with a free 30-minute exclusive demo beginning today.

In the game, players face the greatest challenge of an otaku, which is being loved by a real woman. All chances of getting a happy ending usually evaporate as soon as the two meet in real life. One day, the mysterious girls cross the path of the otaku and turn their once boring existence upside down. Whoever players choose to follow would determine their adventure. It could be a trip to the ends of the universe, a dangerous mission to save the world, or a monster hunt in a new world.

Key features of the game include:

  • Keep your mind sharp and solve point-and-click puzzles like a modern version of Takagism’s Crimson Room.
    • Beat more than 10 wild mini-games.
    • Practice those shooting skills, crush bad guys in turn-based combats, and more.
  • Meet Waifu, Gohard, and three romanceable characters each having unique thrilling stories.
  • Players can unlock more than 35 endings in a story defined by their choices. Enjoy a new free DLC that completes Waifu’s route.
  • Enjoy the journey in six languages:
    • English
    • Chinese
    • Japanese
    • Spanish
    • Russian
    • Portuguese
