It was only a few weeks back when it was announced that Need for Speed Unbound was coming out in December. Since then, we've been getting to know more about the game. The latest one is a new gameplay trailer, which shows us the risks and rewards involved.

You can watch the gameplay trailer below:

While racing has been a big part of the Need for Speed franchise, it's not the only reason why it brings out the adrenaline rush. That's because it's also about not getting caught when the police start the chase.

In this upcoming title, players can choose how and when to put everything on the line. These include pulling those huge drifts on the street, outdriving the police, or better yet placing side bets with their own earnings versus rival racers.

The Grand

Of course, time is money so be sure to get enough cash to join weekly qualifiers and eventually make it to The Grand, Lakeshore’s ultimate race. This is a wheel-spinning test of speed and skill where you put everything on the line and show everyone you're driving on the biggest stage.

For four in-game weeks, you can maximize your bank by joining events and boosting your cash through side bets placed against rival racers. Be sure to spend some in your ride and come out with a custom that can turn heads in Saturday’s Weekly Qualifier. Remember that while there's money to be made across Lakeshore City, there’s always a risk attached to every reward.

Escape the Boys in Blue

In the game, getting noticed means that you'll be attracting the wrong kind of attention. That means the more you race, the more you'll be building up heat. While the cops pile on the pressure, take control of the chase using new escape mechanics. The cops in Lakeshore City are the ones that don't play around, and there are new foreign cars and pursuit helicopters to push your driving to the limit with each chase.

The good news is that you get bonus cash when you evade them and avoid punishments for getting busted. Remember that the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward. So, do you have what it takes to face the challenge?

Need for Speed Unbound is launching December 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Learn more about the game here.
