NASCAR 21: Ignition is officially releasing on October 28. This is the newest game that’s part of the NASCAR gaming franchise. The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

There’s also a free upgrade offered for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, though this is mainly post-launch.

Developed by Motorsport Games, the game is powered by Unreal Engine along with the rFactor physics engine of Studio 397. These two allow players to have a more genuine driving experience, immersive gameplay, stunning visuals, and dynamic AI.

Players can expect to see official drivers, teams, and tracks of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series in the game. The game even has broadcast-quality pre-race build-up along with post-race replays. In fact, the broadcast voice-over work was done by none other than MRN Radio, considered as the Voice of NASCAR. Drivers, meanwhile, have been face-scanned to ensure that they have realistic representations.

The upcoming NASCAR 21: Ignition will boast new features that have long been wanted by players. With Race Now, players immediately join in the action. The Cup Series has players take on the role of their favorite drivers. There is also a Career mode that offers clear goals and driver-focused progression. Online races allow for a maximum of 40 players to compete.

In a statement, Motorsport Games CEO Dmitry Kozko shared that they are happy to offer this true-to-life simulation of NASCAR. He added that the game has been designed with players and fans in mind. Kozko went on to say that the game continues to offer the atmosphere and pageantry of a NASCAR race.

NASCAR Gaming and Esports Managing Director Nick Rend revealed that the use of the Unreal Engine ensures that the game can offer the most realistic NASCAR race experience.

Pre-Orders

NASCAR 21: Ignition pre-orders are now open and players can choose between the Standard Edition and the Champions Edition. Buying either gives players early access two days in advance and even a “Traxion.gg” paint scheme. The Champions Edition though also has all three DLC packs and unlockable Bill Elliott as a playable character and his paint schemes, in-game career boost, and the season pass. The season pass will have more paint schemes and three other NASCAR legend drivers.
