A new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 has been released and it offers a look into the newest fighter arriving courtesy of the DLC. Get ready to meet Ermac. who's more than excited to be part of the main roster. The DLC is available to Kombat Pack owners on April 16 as early access. The DLC itself officially comes out on April 23.

Who or what is Ermac? Ermac is actually a collection of souls that's been bound together by the dark magic of Quan Chi. These bounded souls were intended to work as a group mind. However, that spell was temporarily undone when Ermac was defeated by Mileena and the mind of King Jerrod, who was the deceased ruler of Outworld and one of the souls in the collection, took control and made the decision to rejoin the royal family.

Eventually, these collection of souls managed to regain control which resulted in Ermac retreating to the shadows of the Outworld. Since he was no longer a slave of Quan Chi or bound to the royal family, he now needs to find a future that's worth fighting for. In the new gameplay video, we get to see the devastating move set that Ermac can do.
