Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 is set for release on Steam starting May 31. Preload of the game is already available.

The game had previously been released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Sadly, there will be no cross-play and cross-save between these platforms. For those wondering, it was revealed last year that this is due to different management teams for each version. The good news is fresh pilots are going to be introduced to maintain a positive experience on Steam. You can view the complete list here.

Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 is a free-to-play team battle action game based on the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Get ready to defeat enemies by using your favorite mobile suit or roam across the battlefield and capture important objectives. Game features include:

  • Maximum 6 vs. 6 online battles
    • Join players around the globe in 6v6 team online battles on realistic battlefields.
  • Infantry Combat
    • Mobile suits aren't the only heroes on the battlefield.
    • Take on the role of a pilot that can place bombs on enemy bases or request support fire to contribute to the cause.
  • Acquire and Customize Mobile Suits
    • Get new mobile suits using the DP earned from matches or by using purchased tokens from weekly Supply Drops.
    • Once acquired, develop mobile suits by customizing specific parts and weapons or unlocking other important abilities through the hangar.
  • Base Camp
    • An online lobby where players from around the world can connect to each other.
