LG V20 2016 Specs, Price And Release Date For First Android 7.0 Nougat Device

LG announced its latest smartphone, the LG V20 , Tuesday evening as the first device to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone is expected to launch first in Korea later in September, then to other markets in the following weeks. Price details are not yet available.

As one of its main features, the LG V20 includes the dual-screen setup that made the LG V10 popular. In addition to the main display, the device features a small strip of screen real estate dedicated to notifications and alerts. The V20 now includes an expandable notification feature on the second screen, which allows users to extend the smaller screen to read longer messages.

Other LG V20 standout features include an updated camera, which allows for front and rear wide-angle shots, auto shots and hybrid autofocus. Video is also improved with a Steady Record 2.0, which works like optical image stabilization to prevent movement from a camera from showing up on a video. Hi-Fi Video Recording

The LG V20 is made of a lightweight aluminum as well as a silicon-based material. The device is certified under the MIL-STD 810G Transit Drop Test for durability. Color options include titan, silver, and pink.

Specs for the LG V20 include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip, a 5.7-inch Quad HD main display and a secondary display above at 160 x 1040 resolution, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and microSD support up to 2TB, a 16-megapixel/8-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3200 mAh removable battery and Android 7.0 Nougat.
