League of Legends: Champions Got a Bit More Durable in Patch 12.10

Players can expect fights in League of Legends to last a little longer because Patch 12.10 made champions more durable than before.

The developers from Riot Games made sweeping changes to the overall durability of champions in League of Legends. All champions have received increases for the following stats:

  • Base Health: +70
  • Health Growth: +14
  • Armor Growth: +1.2
  • Magic Resist Growth: +0.8

Because champions are tankier in Patch 12.10, the devs made some balancing changes to heals, shields, sustain, and Grievous Wounds as well. The following adjustments have been applied:

  • Healing: Reduced by roughly 10% early game and roughly 28% in the late game (varies by champion)
  • Shielding: Reduced by 10%
  • Omnivamp: Reduced by 10%

Grievous Wounds is a debuff where affected units receive reduced healing. In this update, the healing reduction has been adjusted from 40% to 30% for the base version. For Enhanced Grievous Wounds, the healing reduction is set at 50%.

The abilities of all champions in League of Legends have been rebalanced too. You can read some of the most notable below:

  • E: Healing against champions reduced to 18/20/22/24/26% of damage dealt
  • E (Empowered during R): Healing against champions reduced to 25/30/35/40/45% of damage dealt
  • Passive: Heal upon full stacks (from minions and monsters) reduced to 35-95 (Levels 1 to 18) (+20% AP)
  • Passive: Heal upon champion takedowns reduced to 75-165 (Levels 1 to 18) (+30% AP)
  • Severum: Healing from basic attacks reduced to 2.5%-9% (Levels 1 to 18) of damage dealt
  • Severum: Healing from attacks (abilities) reduced to 8.3%-30% (Levels 1 to 18) of damage dealt
  • R (Severum): Heal upon champion hit reduced to 250/350/450 (Levels 6/11/16)
  • W (R-empowered): Heal reduced to 17% (1% per 100 AP) missing health
  • E: Shield reduced to 80/120/160/200/240 (+45% AP)
  • E (R-empowered): Primary shield reduced to 25/70/120/170 (+45% AP)
  • Passive (Darkin Slayer): Healing from abilities against champions reduced to 25-35% (Levels 1 to 18) of physical damage dealt
  • E: Heal reduced to 90/100/110/120/130 (+35% bonus AD)
  • R (Darkin Slayer): Heal reduced to 9.75% (+8.45% per 100 bonus AD) of the target's maximum health (70% > 65% of damage amount)
