Jumanji: The Curse Returns is coming to Android and iOS this November 17. However, this game isn’t free and is priced at $2.99.

If the price isn’t a problem for you, then you can pre-order the game right now on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The mobile game has four players playing the cursed board game from the 1995 Jumanji film. The only difference is that this one has been done in a modern digital style. Players are sure to enjoy the mix of board game and co-op card matching along with time-attack mechanics. Much like the film, players also get to roll the dice, read riddles, and face various dangers coming from the board game.

The goal here is to have one member of the team reach the center of the board. It won’t be that easy since, at every turn, fresh and deadly challenges await everyone. There’s a stampede of wild animals or the fury of the hunter known as Van Pelt. Just remember that the game can be beaten by working as a team.

The game is set to offer features like new encounter modes or new items, such as a shield that can protect players from vines and attacks from Van Pelt. There are also powered-up items that players can use to deal more damage at one time. Players can also expect to see additional updates after the game is launched.

By the way, a PC version will be released soon through Steam. There’s also a full cross-platform capability in the future to let families and friends enjoy the adventure on mobile or PC.

In a statement, Marmalade Game Studio CEO Mike Willis shared that they are happy to bring this board game to life through mobile. He added that each one of their games has always tried to recreate the feel of the original. Marmalade has been responsible for games like Clue/Cluedo, Battleship, and Monopoly. Willis went on to say that the mobile game will offer a hybrid of gameplay styles.
