Things seldom go smoothly when it's time to bring a new product to the market – just ask Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7. However, the iPhone 7 is not immune either. Over the weekend, some iPhone users reported a concerning "hissing noise" coming from their phones when the A10 chip is under heavy load. Now, users have also reported their iPhones have issues with Airplane Mode.

Users have no problem switching Airplane Mode on. However, when it's time to switch it off, the iPhone 7 sometimes fails to regain mobile service. YouTuber Loay Oweis shared a video showing an iPhone 6s and an iPhone 7 side by side. Both phones are coming out Airplane Mode, but only the iPhone 6s managed to connect to AT&T. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 fails to connect.

According to 9to5 Mac, Apple has told its retail stores to replace its iPhones that share this symptom. Stay tuned as we expect to learn more as the story develops.
