The new game Interference: Dead Air is now available on Steam. In this one, players take on the role of a night security guard working a shift at the Barclay Institute. It begins as a quiet night of guarding which turns into one of chaos. Right now, there is an introductory offer of 10% off for this sci-fi narrative thriller until February 10.
The story is set in Barclay Institute located in a quiet southwest town in the middle of nowhere. What starts as a typical night for a security guard quickly goes awry when the research facility is suddenly overrun by enemies.
With only an archaic computer, a pinboard map of the facility, and a two-way radio for communication, players are asked to choose between helping the scientists or ignoring their calls for help. For those who want to help, the key is to juggle radio conversations, track movement on the pin board, and reroute power when and where necessary to make sure that everyone gets out safely. Of course, there’s also the choice to switch off the radio and sit back, close the blinds, and ignore any explosions going off in the distance.
