Hunting Pokemon Go Shiny Is Actually Very Easy
As long as you are looking in the right place, hunting Shiny variants in the game should be easier than before. Niantic

Players who are in the right place should have no trouble finding a Shiny pocket monster in Pokémon Go. That is because it is now a lot easier to find Shiny Pokémon than ever before. The change is largely due to the Shiny spawn rate of the Costumed Starter Pokémon.

If you have been playing Pokémon Go for a while, you will know that the spawn rate of Shiny pocket monsters is quite low. That is why players are always having a hard time finding even a single Shiny variant in the game. While Niantic has made it easier for its hit mobile game than in any other traditional handheld Pokémon games, the fact remains that it is still a difficult feat to accomplish.

Players on The Silph Road are suggesting that the rate at which the Costumed Starter Pokémon appear Shiny is a bit higher than almost any other Shiny Pokémon’s ever been in the game. While no one can tell a definitive rate a Pokémon will spawn as Shiny, players are saying that one out of every 20 Costumed Starter Pokémon is a Shiny Pokémon.

Moreover, the Shiny Costumed Pikachu’s Shiny Rate is reportedly lower. As for the remaining Pokémon, they seem to be far more common than the developers would want to move forward with.

Suffice to say, there are indeed several other Pokémon with far more common spawn rates for Shiny Pokémon variants in Pokémon Go than players have seen before. Of course, this change is not necessarily permanent and Niantic can change it at any time without further notice. At least, for now, it is the perfect time to play the game and capture as many Shiny Pokémon as possible.
