Some VR enthusiasts had to wait several weeks for preordered HTC Vive headsets to ship in early April; however, the manufacturer has announced that order processing has been ramped up so headsets can ship 72 hours after purchase.
Customers can order the HTC Vive from Vive.com for speedy shipping. Or they can purchase the Vive in stores at Microsoft Stores, GameStop and Micro Center locations. The HTC Vive sells for $799.
HTC Vive demos will also be available at about 100 Microsoft Stores , GameStop and Micro Center locations starting in June. The Vive will also be demoed as public events including E3 – LA Live, Vidcon and San Diego Comic-Con in the coming weeks.
