Guilds Put to the Test in A3: Still Alive Fortress Battles

A new way to fight.
A new way to fight. Netmarble

A3: Still Alive is testing guilds to walk the talk with Fortress Battles. This server-integrated Guild Battle mode involves three 50-player guilds battling for supremacy. However, this one isn’t really a free-for-all mode. Instead, one guild defends a fortress against the other two guilds. It’s going to be every Saturday starting August 28.

In order for everyone to prepare, there will be the new Weapon/Equipment Mythical Awakening system. What this does is allow Legendary-Set Equipment at least Level 180 to be upgraded to Mythical-Set. Players who can complete an entire set unlock new set substats.

New Content

There’s also a new personal Event dungeon titled Rat Thief Nest. The final boss is the Rat Thief Captain: Ratting and players who can defeat it earn items that can be used at the difficulty they choose. This is available from August 19 to September 9.

Other new content arriving in the game include:

  • Inside The Hidden Fortress Rift Pre-season Opens
    • During the pre-season, the Rift is going to open every day from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    • The Rift allows players to summon and defeat bosses that are in dungeons usually accessible only by the winning guild of Fortress Battles.
  • Fortress Battle Release Celebration 7-Day Check-In
    • Period: August 19 to September 2
    • Players receive rewards by just logging in daily.
    • Rewards include Ancient Accessory Chest and Level 180 Legendary-Set Chest.
  • Bennet's Power Up Support Mission Event
    • Period: August 19 to September 2
    • Players participating in the event earn the Rat Thief Nest entry tickets and other items like the Superior Complement Chest and Superior Artifact Chest.
  • To the Ballroom Exchange Event
    • Period: August 19 to September 9
    • Completing various modes can yield Ball Invitations and Bouquets.
    • These can be exchanged for rewards like Sweet Ballroom Weapon/Equipment Exchange Tickets.

A3: Still Alive can be downloaded for free on Google Play and the App Store. However, a beta service is currently offered on Windows and iMac. With this, the game hopes to expand the experience to those who prefer non-mobile devices.
