It looks like trouble has arrived in GTA Online with the Los Santos area experiencing a surge in violence. Reports say that armed invaders are laying siege on different areas from the La Puerta scrapyard to the Vespucci Canals. Time to put those skills to the test with the new seven Survival maps.
In GTA Online, Survival is a mode where one to four players need to defend a location versus waves of attacking NPCs. With each wave, the difficulty is increased. One thing that players must remember is each map has “out-of-bounds” zones that are invisible. Thus, what may seem to be a strategic position may actually disqualify a player from that particular wave.
The GTA Online team revealed that after this week, individual jobs are going to be removed to make way for additional updates. Jobs though are going to be cycled in and out over time.
Other Events
Beginning today and until July 19, Freemode Events are giving out triple rewards. Also, triple rewards are available for Challenges in Freemode.
For this week, it’s important to keep a close watch on incoming text messages, particularly from Simeon Yetarian. Finishing his Export Requests gives the usual monetary rewards. Players who are named as the employee of the month get the Sunset Tint Oversize Shades for free.
