Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator is getting a huge Custom Night update, featuring almost every character in the Five Nights At Freddy’s series. According to the latest teaser on the Scott Games website, even the Phone Guy is invited to the party.

The teasing began over the past day or so, while franchise creator Scott Cawthon slowly revealed batches of animatronics set to be featured in the upcoming patch. As an homage to all four years of games, the Custom Night looks like it will include nearly every animatronic the series has ever seen. This includes the withered animatronics from the first game, the toy animatronics from Five Nights At Freddy’s 2, Springtrap, the Nightmare animatronics, the Sister Location animatronics and more.

For players of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator specifically, the Custom Night update will also be the first time we see full 3D renders of characters previously exclusive to the tycoon mini-game. Rather than staying on their stage, Happy Frog, Mr. Hippo, Porkpatch and even El Chip will be on the hunt for unsuspecting Fazbear Entertainment employees in traditional point-and-click gameplay. This teaser doesn’t reveal exactly how the mode will function, but it sure has lots of enemies.

The reveal of a Custom Night update for Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator comes days after an official announcement from Cawthon suggesting he’ll be seeking help from a larger publisher to make future Five Nights At Freddy’s games. As a final solo effort, however, he promised to release one more update and asked fans which form it should take. While a complete tycoon mode was offered, the pleas for a Custom Night appear to have been the loudest.

Custom Nights have been a staple of Five Nights At Freddy’s games since the first entry released in 2014. In addition to offering the last bit of lore for each title, they allow players to set custom difficulty levels and add or remove animatronics from the map. For the most passionate fans, it means cranking every setting to its maximum difficulty while trying to survive the barrage of jumpscares that follow. Because most of the outstanding lore was solved in Five Nights At Freddy’s 6, Cawthon has said the upcoming Custom Night will offer new developer diary content instead of story details.

This teaser is the first of several likely to be posted during Custom Night’s development. With work on its character roster now complete, Cawthon hints that images of the mode’s redesigned office are coming soon. A release date or window for the update has not been announced at this time.

This exciting news for fans of the Five Nights At Freddy’s games arrives amidst a flurry of small announcements over the last few days. Beyond Cawthon describing his publishing ambitions, it was also revealed that Harry Potter Producer Chris Columbus will write, direct and produce the upcoming Five Nights At Freddy’s movie.

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator is available as a free download on Steam.
