The latest update for the popular racing game Forza Horizon 5 is now available on all platforms. This patch brought a lot of exciting stuff, including the new anti-lag system and support for Nvidia DLSS 3.0 technology.

Turbo in Style

Anti-lag, aka ALS, is a system found in cars with turbocharged engines designed to eliminate turbo lag. In layman’s terms, whenever you take your foot off the accelerator and then step on it again, it takes some time for enough pressure to build inside the turbocharger and provide a boost. The time it takes for that to happen is called turbo lag.

The anti-lag system, therefore, is useful because it essentially eliminates that downtime, thus providing some much-needed boost when you need it. This system also has a cool side effect that makes your engine produce roaring sounds, signifying that the mechanism is working.

That said, the anti-lag system is now available to all cars in Forza Horizon 5 equipped with a turbocharger.

Better Performance

The latest patch also adds support for Nvidia DLSS 3.0 technology. However, this feature can only be enabled if you’re using RTX 4000 series graphics cards on your PC.
