'Fortnite' x 'South Park' Trailer Reveals New Quints Mode, Butters in a 5-Player Battle Royale

Not a "South Park" leak anymore that "Fortnite" fans witnessed earlier.

"Fortnite" fans saw a minor "South Park" leak this week. Although the collaboration was just previously a speculation, a short trailer convinced others that it's already on its way. Right now, Epic Games confirmed that there's an official trailer for this crossover.

The three-minute video features Butters, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny diving into five-player battle royale matches, officially called Quints.

The official trailer appears to be much longer than the leaked version, adding new animated sequences in classic "South Park" style. Fans see the main quartet playing video games, while Butters is left in the lobby, a nod to his "Fortnite" struggles.

Cartman mocks him mercilessly and says that he "actually just sucks at Fortnite and it's not even lowkey."

Butters steps up in his tinfoil Professor Chaos costume, wielding the Stick of Truth to transform the South Park school bus into a proper Battle Bus. The next moment, the characters are transported into the "Fortnite" universe, including Cartmanland, setting the stage for Quints and integrating Butters into their squad.

Here Comes the Quints Mode

According to IGN, Quints allow five-player teams to compete together, answering long-standing requests for larger squad sizes in Fortnite.

Epic has confirmed the mode will be available until February 5, giving players plenty of time to experience bigger, chaotic battles. The trailer also teases mech suit skins for the South Park characters, adding extra visual excitement.

Born in Chaos Pass Goes Free

The Born in Chaos Pass will be free during the event. Unlike past mini-passes, it won't automatically unlock South Park outfits; players can purchase skins directly from the Fortnite Shop, allowing more customization freedom.

The crossover is expected to feature "South Park" humor with "Fortnite's" fast-paced gameplay. You can look forward to chaotic Quints battles, new skins, and irreverent comedy, making this one of the year's most anticipated events.
