Fortnite has been going strong, especially after the release of its Chapter 2 Season 2. The new season offered a new battle pass, cosmetics, and an updated map. But of course, a new season brings new bugs. Epic Games recently released a patch that addresses some of them.
Normally, the patch always comes with patch notes that reveal what is being fixed or added. However, that’s not the case this time. Thanks to the Trello board, we know some bugs that have been fixed with the patch. The update fixed the bug where XP gains were not appearing on players' XP bars, incorrect Y0nD3r flair style, and flickering of teammate arrows in Team Rumble shouldn’t happen anymore.
You can read the list of bugs that we know are addressed below, keep in mind that this may not be the complete list.
- Unable to close map with map input if bound to directional pad up.
- Weak point hits not registering when very close to them.
- XP gain from XP Coins not appearing in the XP bar.
- Teammate arrows flickering/temporarily disappearing in Team Rumble.
- Flair style of Y0ND3R incorrectly locked.
- Big Haul Glider variant may not unlock.
That’s not all though, thanks to FNBR.io we also know about some future content that might come in later updates. They are rumors, so it might not be 100 percent accurate, but they surely got us all excited. There is information about upcoming skins and an old weapon making its way back in the game. Scope Assault Rifle might make its Fortnite return along with a legendary variant of the weapon. A new type of proximity mine and a helicopter could also be introduced.
Epic Store also cares about its player’s health. According to the leak, upcoming updates could limit playtime for Fortnite. If you played the game for three to five hours, then the game will stop giving you XP.
