Major spoilers for The Flash Season 3 ahead.

Jesse Quick is set to return to the series during the Gorilla City arc next week, and the latest set video suggests her visit will be far from relaxing. Twitter user WonderWoman has posted a set video and photos which show Jesse Quick going up against Savitar. While you can’t hear what the two speedsters are saying, it’s clear there’s some sort of confrontation where Savitar lunges toward Jesse Quick and she runs away, eventually ending up on the ground in another photo. Until now Savitar appeared to be an all-CGI character, but here he’s seen wearing a suit and it looks pretty awesome.

There’s also another small detail on closer look. As Pagey points out on YouTube, she appears to be holding some sort of dagger. She points it toward Savitar, suggesting it could be some sort of relic related to the Philosopher's Stone. How Jesse Quick ends up all by herself against Savitar remains to be seen, but it implies she could be sticking around Central City longer than just two episodes. In the comics, Savitar tried to take the speed of many speedsters, one of them being Jesse Quick. We’ll have to see if that plays out on the series.

We’ll first see Jesse Quick in episode 13, “Attack on Gorilla City,”when she comes to ask Barry for help after her father, Harrison Wells, is captured and brought to Gorilla City on Earth-2. The following episode will continue the Gorilla Grodd arc.

Now it appears Jesse Quick will stay in Central City for the next episode, titled “The Wrath of Savitar.” It would certainly be fitting for that scene to take place when Savitar makes his return from the speed force. Episode 16 is when Rick Cosnett and Robbie Amell are set to return. And finally, episode 17 is the musical crossover episode with Supergirl titled “Duet.”
